The Science Behind Spell Casting

Is love spell casting a science? I believe that it is. For any kind of spell, whether it be a spell for love, for money, for a new job, for spiritual growth, for healing, there are basic principles and foundations upon which all magic and spells operate. As long as the spell caster understands these basic principles and uses all manner of creative possibilities when casting a spell, and also has a highly trained concentrated mind able to focus exactly on the outcome required without doubt or negativity, they will be successful. Spell casting is not based in superstition or religion, although it is of course part of the religion of witchcraft.

The principles behind spell casting are universal and found in many tribal cultures, spiritual systems and High Magick lodges. Love spells are as old as time itself. Even people within mainstream "ordinary" religions who really know how to obtain results with prayer are actually doing spellwork, although they would never accept it as such! I suppose that spell casting could be considered the pagan equivalent of prayer, but I believe that is only really half of the truth. The concept is of course similar, but most people in churches who pray to a God by whatever name, do not understand these Universal Laws, whilst the majority of people who truly use magick as a spiritual pathway do, even if only intuitively.

To cast a a love spell is to work in harmony with the divine Universal Consciousness, holding in your mind a clear intent, whilst taking responsibility for the creation of the thoughtform itself. Most magical practitioners who cast a spell consider themselves a part of a Divine Creator, a Goddess/God, and also with all levels of nature which are involved in this balance and change. Sounds easy? No - it really isn't - at least not to an untrained mind! Try holding one thought in your head for many minutes at a time, focusing on that thought solely and without being distracted, KNOWING inside of yourself that this thought is taking creation right now, as you are doing this, and is coming to fruition at the right time for permanancy - the correct time. Unless you have trained your mind over many years through meditation, you will find that holding a single thought is quite hard, however much you want that outcome. Most peoples' minds are unruly, they disappear off on all sorts of tangents, and immediately they do so they lose the concentration and thus lose the outcome of the spell too. This is why spells do not work for those who simply pick up a book and recite some magical words, or simply use a candle and say a little three line spell from a book. As I say on the main Love Spells page on this website, spells really are a constant stream of positive thought from a highly trained mind, one that focuses on the desired result without negativity or doubt, whilst calling on the help of the Spiritual Ascended Masters. This is what I offer to do for you, using skill and expertise built up over many years of practice and dedication to my craft.

When you expect results and are fully focussed on the result that you want without negativity or doubt [we are back to that highly trained mind again to accomplish this!] your energy will then return the results you want. Energetically you get exactly what you send out. The Universe itself is abundant, but the fundamental law of True Magick is that you or your spell caster will create your own reality. So prayer and spell casting amount to the same thing. Many Native Indians will do prayer work for example, using plants, animals and conjuring up of spirits, but to a Witch or a High Priestess like myself, they are doing spell casting.

Any specific act of magick that create changes in accordance with your Will is a Spell. In spell casting we take conscious action and responsibility for our magical outcomes.

The Basic Laws of Spell Casting

Firstly the spell caster must have a strong Will, which is totally in line with the divine will and the spell caster's own desire for the outcome. A connection to the Source, All That Is, must be felt, and then the magick can become very powerful.

Secondly, there must be a clear intention to direct that will. The problem here is that many people simply do not know what they want, not really. They send out vague intentions to the Universal Consciousness and of course get vague results back! So we have to be completely focussed in our spell casting, and be very clear in the end result that we want. The stages along the way to that result are not important - it is always the result that matters. In fact it is better to be totally open about the "how" - let the Universe sort that out for you - and just concentrate solely on the outcome that you want. For example, you may write to me to ask for money. Well, ok, nothing wrong with that. But that is not the means to the end. WHY do you want the money? Do you just want money to sit in the bank [a bad idea since that is not keeping the energy flowing, it will stagnate and soon dry up] or do you want it for some specific purpose? State the specific purpose and that is what we focus on in the spell casting.

Incidentally I never do spells that will harm anyone else, even if that person has tried to hurt me. What I would do in that situation is simply to hold up what I term a "psychic mirror" which just means that the person's actions, words or deeds just bounce off me harmlessly - straight back to the sender! In other words, they harm themselves by trying to hurt me, and will find that what they have sent out to me, simply results in great negativity and bad luck for them instead. And, most importantly, I don't even have to know the name of the person who is wishing me ill for this "return to sender" type of spell casting to work. There is nothing wrong in this and is a form of psychic protection. It is not black magic to protect yourself. All true witches practice this form of protection very successfully, without accruing any bad karma.

Thirdly, you need a method by which to direct this energy you are raising in your spell casting. A witch's Will and Intention are the energy, but we need a method by which to send them out into the Universe so that they can manifest. Little point in me keeping your wishes inside of myself! They won't manifest there. So we use ritual to align this intention, emotions, will. We raise and release the energy to manifest the magick and the outcome for you. Through these spells and rituals, we talk to the Divine Energy on your behalf on the level that this Energy understands. Thought and feeling and emotion. Many times I will use thoughtforms and send these out on your behalf, again linked directly to the Divine Energy, that Universal Consciousness. These thoughtforms go out into the Universe with specific instructions, gathering momentum to return your desires into reality. I will use my own Spirit Guides to help in this process. Visualisation too is often used, imagining in pictures the exact outcome of the spell itself and this is a highly powerful method of directing the energy.

So, to sum up, that is the basis of how spells work. They are more than just positive thought, far far more than that. I align myself exactly with the force of the Universal Consciousness itself. Most people just don't know how to do this - they send out signals, their hopes and wishes on a standard brainwave frequency, complete with the doubt that "oh well, this probably won't work" - and are then very disheartened when indeed it doesn't work! The spell caster has to get on the same frequency as the Universal Consciousness, her brain wavelength through meditation will correspond exactly to and be in harmony with, that Consciousness. This is called the Alpha State. But once a spell caster or a Witch has learnt how to do this, perfecting her art throughout many years of meditation and practice, oh the results that can be obtained! It is a most wonderful feeling! You know with certainty that you are a part of everything around you [quantum physics] and that you are so very powerful. Intuition is heightened, an over-view of life is seen, and the world becomes quite literally a magical place.
