What Is Tarot?
Of the many forms of divination, tarot stands alone in its' artistry and clarity of information. By working with the universal symbols of tarot, we are linked to the diversity of life's experiences. When simply holding a tarot deck, we are connected to the anima mundi, the world soul, the collective unconscious, the healing qualities of the human heart and psyche.
The History of Tarot
Tarot cards were invented in Italy in the early 15th century. These cards, called the Italian Tarocchi, were used primarily for playing card games and not for divination or meditation as they are now. Tarot gained occult usage in the late 18th century France. The modern word 'tarot' is of French original and is pronounced 'taro' with the final 't' being silent. Tarot was studied in England by the occult group The Golden Dawn during the end of the 19th century and into the beginning of the 20th century.
How Does Tarot Work?
Tarot cards illustrate symbols and myths that are allegorical of life experiences and situations. By reading your personal experience in the cards, you become part of the collective whole of human experience, what scholars refer to as the 'akashic record', the astral record of all that has ever been and ever will be in existence. By working with the tarot you are no longer alone in an isolated struggle for clarity; you are part of the greater whole.
Tarot Readings
I have been reading tarot for many years. Now I am delighted to be able to offer my tarot reading services through Healing Spirit. I hope you will find them informative, helpful, healing, and that they will give you plenty of guidance and food for thought for your future and the way you look at your life. Each reading is handcrafted by myself and typed up to send to you; these are not instant computerised tarot readings which you can find cheaply all over the internet. Each reading takes me at least an hour in which to lay out the cards, meditate on your main question, and to interpret the answers given by the tarot. I then take another hour in which to type up your reading and email it to you. In this way, you get a true in-depth reading with plenty of information.
These are excellent readings to have if you are working with Tanith on a love spell, to help you find your way forward in your relationship.
How Do I Order A Reading?
Firstly, take the time to sit quietly and meditate on your question. Phrase it exactly so that it feels right for you and that it is aimed at the information you want to know. Then send me an email using the contact form on this website giving the following details:
- your full name and date of birth
- the name of anyone else involved
- your question
- some background information so that I have a basis on which to start. The more precise you can be with this, the better your reading will be. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that a clairvoyant should know everything, that you shouldn't have to give information! Because you are not sitting directly in front of me, I need something on which to base your reading. Otherwise you could end up with a reading that talks about your career, when really you wanted it focussed on your relationship. Using tarot is like accessing a huge database of knowledge, and I need to know which parts of that knowledge interest you at this time.
When I have all the information I need to do your reading, I will then ask you to go to our Payments web page to make your payment. Please do not pay until I have confirmed that I am able to do your reading for you.
When payment has been received, I will do your reading as soon as I can, usually within 7 days, and will then email it to you in Adobe Acrobat Reader format which is readable by any computer. There is a link on our FAQ page where you can download the free Acrobat software.
